Crack Monitoring

Our unique crack monitoring system allows any crack to be measured in both Horizontal and Vertical directions. it can measure displacement, crack width and tempreture. With alert functionality from any movements above 0.1mm.

Our new MCS V1 is an updated version of the original sub BOX, but smaller, more robust, improved battery life and communication technology.

Used to monitor:

• Domestic and commercial Subsidence

• Domestic and commercial Heave  

• Domestic Extension movement  

• Bridge joint movement 

By default the robust sensor wakes up every 8 hours to take a reading and then transmits this data via the GSM networks to our gateway. Data gathered can then be viewed from any web-enabled device. The sending chip, battery and sensor are all housed within the device meaning deployment is both quick and simple. There are no wires to worry about and installation can be completed in under 10 minutes. The device is initiated by a simple button press.

Through our online gateway users can zero the data to show crack movement change over time, alter the alert levels as well as the address of the recipients. The GUI (graphical user interface) provides functionality to overlay temperature readings on to the crack displacement results allowing for thermal movement patterns to be identified.
