Air Quality & Dust

Poor air quality poses one of the most significant threats to human health of today, causing a wide range of problems including respiratory issues, heart disease, and even cancer.  Pollutants like fine particulate matter (PM2.5 dust) and ozone (O3) can irritate the lungs, leading to coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath.  In fact, the World Health Organization (WHO) classifies air pollution, particularly PM2.5, as a leading cause of cancer with long-term exposure linked to an increased risk of lung cancer, as well as other cancers.  It is little wonder then that monitoring air quality, both around specific risk areas like demolition sites, and around strategic sites like schools, has become of paramount importance.

Here at Moniteye, we utilise the best-in-class air quality monitoring devices to deliver high-precision real-time data.  Our units sample, as standard, PM2.5 and PM10 to MCertified precision, as well as PM1, Nitric Oxide (NO), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Ozone (O3), Air Pressure, Temperature and Relative Humidity.  With our enhanced monitors, we can also simultaneously measure Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), and Total Organic Volatile Compounds (TVOC’s).

All of our measurements are carried out to a high level of precision, with our MCerts PM2.5 and PM10 accurate to 5µg/m3 with a range of 0-20,000µg/m3.  Combine this with our live data cloud, internal memory capable of storing up to 32 million measurements sets, and our resilient mobile network, and you can rest assured that your data is accurate and secure.

Moniteye’s air quality sensors are weatherproof to IP64 and can be powered from mains power, or can be ran all year round utilising our 50W solar panel option.  Accidentally been unplugged on site?  Don’t fret, our internal battery can operate for over three days in normal mode and over a week in winter mode.
